Have fun building electronic circuits (No laptops)
This totally hands on course walks you through various electronic projects you can build and show off to your family and friends You will hopefully. Learn more about electronic components eg resistors, capacitors, LEDs, Integrated Circuits (ICs), sensors etc.
Each participant will get an extensive kit to take home and may begin acting like Steve Jobs in his garage.
This totally hands on course walks you through various electronic projects you can build and show off to your family and friends You will hopefully. Learn more about electronic components eg resistors, capacitors, LEDs, Integrated Circuits (ICs), sensors etc.
- Build a complete circuit on a breadboard.
- Light and maybe fry one or two!
- Make electricity flow between paths.
- Control sound using light
- Use an IC to control lights and sound together.
- Make your own personal radio.
Each participant will get an extensive kit to take home and may begin acting like Steve Jobs in his garage.

Scratch INTERMEDIATE
Equipment needed: Laptop with Scratch 2.0 Offline Editor installed
Venues: Oberthur Primary School (Bull Creek), St Aidan's church (Claremont) & West Leeming PS (coming)
Timings: After-school hours (weekdays & sundays)
For the intermediate course,
Kids learn how to create more advanced interactive stories, games & other projects, for example, Space Invaders.

For the intermediate course,
Kids learn how to create more advanced interactive stories, games & other projects, for example, Space Invaders.
- Apply programming basics such as events, sequences, loops & conditions.
- Think systematically, sequentially & logically.
- Control a 'real' robot called Kamibot using Scratch.
- Parents will be invited on the last lesson to view their kids’ very own projects.
- Basic course strongly recommended if you’re new to Scratch.
- Qualified trainer with full credentials and real classroom experience.
